\huge\mathbb{\underline{QUESTION:-}}

There are 500 eggs in a box. 3/25 got broken 4/5 of the remaining egg were sold. The number of eggs left.

\huge\mathbb{\underline{\blue{SOLUTION:-}}}

we have to find the remaining eggs in the box

Now 1st we find the broken eggs :-

Number of broken eggs =\sf \frac{3}{25} of 500

Now :-

\sf Number\:of\:broken\:egg=\frac{3}{25} ×500\\ \sf Number\:of\: broken\:eggs =\frac{3}{\cancel25}× \cancel500\\ \sf Number \:broken\:egg= 3×20\\ \sf\implies 60

\sf\underline{\underline{\red{Number\:of\:broken \:eggs=60}}}

2nd we have to find the number of sold eggs :-

\sf Number \:of\:sold\:eggs=\frac{4}{5}of 500

Now :-

\sf Number\:of\:sold\:eggs=\frac{4}{5}×500\\ \sf Number \:of\:sold\:eggs= \frac{4}{\cancel5}× \cancel500\\ \sf Number\:of\:sold\:eggs=4×100 \\ \sf\implies 400

\sf\underline{\underline{\red{Number\:of\:sold\:eggs=400}}}

Now add the number of sold annd broken eggs

then :-

400+60=460

Now find the remaining eggs

subtract 460 from 500 we get 40

\sf \longrightarrow 500-460\\ \sf\implies 40

\sf\underline{\boxed{\blue{The \:number\: of\: remaining \:eggs =40}}}
