Given : 50cards in a pack and each card is either red or black.

the ratio of the number of red cards to the number of black cards is 1:1 . 10 black cards are removed from the pack

To find : the ratio of the number of red cards now in the pack to the number of black cards now in the pack

Solution:

50cards in a pack

ratio of the number of red cards to the number of black cards is 1:1

=> Red Cards = Black Cards

Red cards + Black cards =  50

=> Red Cards = Black Cards  = 50/2 = 25

10 black cards are removed from the pack

=> Remaining Black Cards  = 25 - 10  = 15
