  • Let the the no of rooms with 4 beds be x

Then no of rooms with 3 beds will be 15-x

4x + 3{15-x} = 51

4x +45 -3x =51

x =6

ANSWER 6 rooms with 4 beds + 9 rooms with 3 beds

  • Let number of 4beds-bedrooms be X

Then number of 3 beds-bedrooms=(15-X)

4X+3(15-X)=51

45X+45–3X=51

X=51–45=6

Number of 4beds-bedrooms =6

Number of 4beds-bedrooms =6 Number of 3 beds-bedrooms=15–6=9

Hope it's helpful :)
