There are 64 trees in a garden. 25% of these apple trees 62.5% lemon trees and rest are banana trees find the number of each type of tree in the garden​

Total number of trees = 64

∴ No. of apple trees = 0.25*64 = 16

Proportion of lemon trees = 62.5% = 0.625

∴ No. of lemon trees = 0.625*64 = 40

No. of banana trees =

Total no. of trees - (No. of apple trees + No. of lemon trees)

∴ No. of banana trees = 64 - (16+40)

                                    = 64 - 56

                                    = 8
