There are 8 pebbles, 7 of these have exactly mass, but there is 1 pebble whose mass is greater. If you have given with a taraju (weight mapper). How many times do you need to weight & to find out the pebble with having excesses mass.

        3<--->3    , keep 2 aside

Step 2. from the above measure you will have either

  a. set of 3 pebbles with heavier weight

         -> if this is the case then measure any 1 pebble with another 1 pebble

              1<------>1 , keep 1 aside

            from above

           |   either you will have heavier pebble in

           |   measurement or the one kept aside

        Hence, total of 2 times we have used weight mapper

    b.  or 2 pebbles kept aside will have heavier weight

          |     measure 1 pebble each with weight mapper

          |      and we will get heavier pebble

       Hence, total of 2 times we have used weight mapper
