The provision can provide for 800 soldiers for 60 days

Find the number of days it can provide if there is only 1 soldier:

800 soldiers = 60 days

1 soldier = 60 x 800 = 48,000 days

Find the total number of soldiers now:

Total number of soldiers = 800 + 400 = 1200

Find the number of days it can provide for 1200 soldiers:

1 soldier = 48,000 days

1200 soldier = 48000 ÷ 1200 = 40 days

Answer: The provision can last for 40 days

Heyaa..☺️
.
Here's the answer-

800 soldiers - 60 days

800+400=1200 soildiers - x days
( Its a example of inverse proportion )

So, 800×60/1200

= 40 days
