There were five people in the room after the killer entered the number of the persons in the room increased to six, if four were killed then the number of people who remained ii the room should be two, among which one was with the four who were killed and the other one is the killer of the four. Starting off with the first addition. You said that there are 5 people in the room and when you enter the room there will be 6 people in total.

Now if you shoot 4 people in the room there will still be 6 people in the room including the dead bodies.

Now in this situation 4 are dead and 2 are alive.

But the count is still the same which is total of 6 people in the room.
