Immunization is used to develop immunity against a specific kind of pathogen. In the process of immunisation, a person is injected with some microorganisms, which don't have the ability to reproduce themselves. Those microorganisms are harmless. Those microorganisms are then recognized and then specific antibodies are then made for those pathogens. So, when the next time that specific pathogen is introduced to it, the antibodies fight against those pathogens and the person is not infected by that disease.
