there are many atmospheric gases,so how we are inhailing only oxygen in large amount

Nitrogen- 78 percent
Argon- 0.93 percent
Carbon dioxide-0.038 percent
These are the other atmospheric gases besides oxygen...

we are inhaling all the gases but only oxygen is utilized in our body.

jananigopinath2002: Nothing happens to them. They are just other gases in the atmosphere. Maybe they are present for some other reason. Carbon dioxide is present for the plants to breath in, nitrogen is present for the exchange of gases in plants, Argon is used for florescent light bulbs. and finally oxygen is used by human beings for breathing. This concludes that each gas is used in each way...
