Given:

Total number of clerks in the company = 70

Number of females = 30

Number of married clerks = 30→ 15 are males

Number of clerks above the age of 25 = 24→ 12 are males

19 married clerks are above the age of 25→ 7 are males

To find:

Number of bachelor females above the age of 25.

Solution:

Distribution

Total clerk = 70 of which Male = 40, Female = 30,

Married clerks = 30 of which Male = 15, Female = 15,

Age of 25 plus married clerks = 19 of which Male = 7, Female = 12,

Age of 25 plus clerks = 24 of which Male = 12, Female = 12,

Age of 25 plus unmarried clerks = 5 of which Male = 5, Female = 0

so Bachelor girls = 15, none of them is above 25

Therefore number of bachelor females above the age of 25 is 0.
