8 ltrs container is full. 5 ltrs & 3 ltrs containers are empty. ie: ,,,8–0–0

Pour 8 ltrs into 5 ltrs…..……3–5–0

Pour 5 ltrs into 3 ltrs …..…..3–2–3

Pour 3 ltrs into 8 ltrs …..,….6–2–0

Pour 5 ltrs into 3 ltrs………..6–0–2

Pour 8 ltrs into 5 ltrs …,……1–5–2

Pour 5 ltrs into 3 ltrs ……….1–4–3

Pour 3 ltrs into 8 ltrs ……..:.4–4–0 ……Now 8 ltrs and 5 ltrs containers have 4 ltrs milk each! It is a good mental exercise.
