There are twelve dozen of apples in a basket, Two
dozen are added later. Ten apples got spoilt and are
removed. The remaining are transferred equally into
two baskets. How many are there in each basket?​

ANSWER:

TWELVE DOZEN APPLES= 144 APPLES

+

TWO DOZEN ADDED = 168 APPLES

NOW,

THERE ARE 144 + 168 = 312 APPLES

TEN APPLES GOT ROTTEN..... SO THROWN AWAY .

SO,

312 - 10 = 302

√302

=17
