The Ratio of the mixture is 4y : 3x

By The Question We have

Water & Milk ratio in first mixture = 5 : 3

water And Milk ratio in second mixture = 5:4

therefore, the water & Milk amount in the first mixture = 5x and 3x

Again, the milk and water amount in the second mixture = 5y and 4y

Let,the new ratio of mixture = a : b

Again, the milk and water amount in the first mixture = 5 ax and 3 ax

So,the milk and water amount in the second mixture = 5 by and 4 by

Therefore, the total milk = 5 ax + 5 by

Total water = 3 ax+4 by

Now

(5 ax+4 by) : (3 ax+4 by) = 4 : 3

15 ax+12 by = 12 ax+16 by

3 ax = 4 by

3 ax/b = 4 y

a/b = 4y/ 3x

a : b = 4y : 3x
