There are two numbers and their ratio is 3:9. If we subtract 9 from both numbers then their ratio becomes 12: 13, what is the largest number?​

Ratio :

So ,

Numbers = 3x and 9x

If we subtract 9 from both numbers ;

Ratio :

12 : 13

Solving :

3x - 9 = 12

3x = 12 + 9

3x = 21

x = 21 / 3

x = 7

First Number ( 3x ) is largest number
