Given,

There is 5% water in milk .

To find,

To increase 4% water how much more water should be added in 8 L milk.

Main Solution :

We know there is 5% by default in milk.

So, water in 8 L of milk = \frac{5}{100}*8 = 0.3 L

New percent of water in milk = 4%+5%=9%

So, new amount  of water in 8 L of milk = \frac{9}{100}*8=0.54L

Increase in amount of water = 0.54 L - 0.3 L = 0.24 L ( Answer )
