there is a circular pond and a foot path runs along its boundary. a man walks around it exactly once , keeping close to the edge . if his step is 66cm long and he takes exactly 400steps to go around the pond , what is the diameter of the pond ​

Let the radius of the pond be 'r'. since man takes exactly 400 step of 66cm to go around the pond.

Hence, the circumference of the pond =66*400
=26400cm
=26400/100
=264m.

Circumference of the pond is 264m..
Circumference of the circular pond= 2πr

264= 2πr
264=2*3.14*r
264=6.28*r
r=264/6.28
r=42.038
r=42(round of)

∴ Diameter of the pond(d) =2*r
d=2*42
d=84m
