There is a convergence and divergence of magnetic field near the ends of a current carrying straight solenoid. Give reasons

magnetic field lines produced inside the solenoid are diverged due to which the the magnetic force is strongest inside the solenoid while the magnetic field lines are converged outside the solenoid because there is weak magnetic force.

Explanation:

The magnetic field lines exist only in loop and they do not converge or diverge to a point but get closely spaced. As we know that they follow the direction according to the Fleming's right hand rule.

So they have to pass through the same path in a confined space of the conducting loop without intersecting each other and hence they become almost straight and parallel to each other.
