There is a milk sample with 50% water in it. If 1/3rd of this milk is added to equal amount of pure milk, then water in the new mixture will fall down to?

let milk sample is 6 liter, so there is 3 liter milk and 3 liter water.

so 1/3rd of sample is 2 liter in which 1 liter milk and 1 liter water.

when we add 2 liter pure milk in 2 liter milk sample.

amount of pure milk is = 2 + 1 = 3 liter

amount of water is = 1 liter

so in new mixture water percentage ,

\frac{1}{4}*100\\\\=25

so water in the new mixture will fall down to 25 %.
