There is a need to maintain a proper balance between population and utilization of resources. This is because the more the population grows, the more the utilization of resources increases. (i.e, population and utilization of resources are directly proportional). Due to the fact that resources are in a limited quantity, and the utilization of resources is increasing day by day, in the future, there will a scarcity of resources, leading to the fall of the human species. Maintaining a proper balance between population and utilization of resources is called sustainable development.

Hi Friend!
There is certainly a need to maintain a proper balance between population and utilization of resources. Let us take the example of our own country India. In India the number of people are increasing so dramatically that there are not sufficient amount of resources to fulfill the needs of all the people! We hear of cases of food shortage because the land under cultivation is just limited whereas the number of people born each year are increasing at an alarming rate. In such a situation that exists today in our country, it is our responsibility to use, reuse, reduce and refuse. We must be more concerned and conservative. Food wastage should be minimised in order to ensure that people don't go to bed without a meal. There is a lot of poverty in India and not all people are lucky to have all the resources they need. So be wise and save our resources!
