Why stale food should not be consumed

When a food product is stored for a period of time which exceeds its shelf life,   it is called stale and it starts attracting microbes from the environment.

These microbes thrive on the energy provided by the food and start multiplying rapidly

When these stale food items are consumed, these microbes also enter our digestive system and act as disease causing pathogens which generates an immune response in the body.

As a result, people suffer from severe indigestion or food poisoning.
