Rectangle:
L = 600m
B = 400m
Square:
Side = 400m
Perimeter of rectangular field = L + B + L + B or 2(L+B)
= 600 + 400 + 600 + 400
= 2000m
Perimeter of square field = S + S + S + S or 4S
= 400 + 400 + 400 + 400 = 1600m
Therefore,
The perimeter of the rectangular field is greater than that of the square field.
