GIVEN,

Length of playground = 45m

Breadth of playground=40m

Area of playground => 40 x 45 =1800m²

Area of road =450m²

let, the width of road be x

Total length =(45+2x)m

Total breadth= (40+2x)m

Total area =Area of playground+ Area of road

=>(45+2x)(40+2x)=1800+450

=>1800+90x + 80x + 4x²=2250

=>4x²+170x+1800=2250

=>4x²+170x+1800-2250=0

=>4x²+170x-450=0

=>2(2x²+85x-225)=0

=>2x²+85x-225=0

here , is the required quadratic equation!!

☺️✌️✌️
