10 volume solution of H22 means that 1 litre of this is H2O2 solution will give 10 litre of oxygen at STP.2 H2O2

(l) ➑ O2(g) + H2O (l)2*24 gm 22.7L at STP 68gm On the basis of above equation 22.7 litre of O2 is produced from 68 gram H2O2 at STP 10 litre of O2 at STP is produced from(68*10)βž—22.7 =29.9 gm =30 gm H2O2.

Therefore strength of H2O2 in 10 volume H2O2 solution = 30 gm/L = 3 % H2O2 solution.

Answer:

Some Important Point To Be Refered Before Solving The Question

Concentration Of Hydrogen Peroxide In Terms Volume

10 Volume Of H2O2 Means 1 ml Of H2O2 Solution Which Gives 10 ml Of O2 [Or] 1 Litre Of H2O2 Means 1 ml Of H2O2 Which Gives 10 ml Of O2.

100 Volume Of H2O2 = 30% Of H2O2 Solution And 10 Volume Of H2O2 = 3% Of H2O2 Solution.

Sol- 10 Volume Of H2O2 Means 1 L Of H2O2 Solution Will Give 10 L Of Oxygen At STP [Standard Temperature And Pressure]

2H2O2 Gives 2H2O+O2

2x34=68 22.4 Litre [34 Is The Atomic Weight Of H2O2],{10 Litre Is The Given Volume Of H2O2}

X 10 Litre (By Cross Multiplication Solve The Terms)

X=68x10 Divided By 22.4=680 Divided By 22.4 = 28.571 gm Approx. 30 Gms.
