•••      Once you have created a table then there is ‘table options’ bar.

•••      You can use top four boxes to tell word which part of the table need special formatting.

•••      You can have banded rows and columns. Banded rows mean that every other row would be of specific color and banded column means that every other column would be of specific color. For this purpose we will turn on ‘banded row’ and ‘banded column’ tabs.
