⭕️ As long as electrons revolve in an orbit, they never lose or gain energy i.e. their energy is fixed. This is called stationary state of electrons.

⭕️Electrons can gain or lose energy only when they jump from one orbit to another. This is called Electronic transition.

⭕️ If electrons jump from lower to higher energy level orbital i.e from n1 to n2 , it gains energy. It is called excitation of electron.

⭕️And if electron jumps from higher to lower energy level orbital i.e from n2 to n1, it loses energy. It is called dexication of electron.⭐⭐
