Answer:

There is enough in nature for human need but not for human greed.” This powerful statement was given by Mahatma Gandhi. If we discuss this statement taking ideas from the lesson “The village pharmacy’ it would be a fine example.

In this lesson, Grandpa narrates the medicine value of neem. He tells about Mahatma Gandhi he used to conduct prayers at the SabarmatiAshram under a neem tree. His daily diet had a neem leaf chutney also there are lots of things in nature for the human neem as described in the lesson the village pharmacy. Neem has the potential to increase the fertility of the soil. It acts as a good insect repellent and is eco-friendly. It is resistant to more than two hundred different types of insects. It has proved itself as a good pesticide. Its fallen leaves are rich in organic content and serve as good manure. It gives cool shade there can be a fall in temperature up to 10ºC in the summer months under a neem tree in comparison to the surroundings thus, it is a natural air conditioner.

IMPORTANCE OF TREE AND NATURAL RESOURCES:

Trees are an essential part of nature without trees, no living being can sustain their lives. Trees give us fresh air to breathe, Provide us good food to eat, and shelter from sunlight. Trees also form a safe habitat for many wild creatures. Just like trees, natural resources are also too much essential for survival on this earth without them we cannot imagine our human life all resources are either directly or indirectly connected with others.

So there is enough in nature for the human need if we use it without any unnecessary exploitation and can satisfy the needs of human beings generation after generation greed is the most potent evil weakening mankind.
