there is more drag on an object when it moves through water then when it moves through air explain with reason​

yes when a object moved through air there is a one more drag

1) watch drag is itself of air which which is due to the surface of the object if it is streamlined and the dry could be reduced.

2) other drako to be other particles other than air like mud heavy rain or any other particles which are present in air also create some drag.

it is due to buoyant force . we can easily drag an object in water because it's weight reduces when we put an object in water because of force exerted in vertically upward direction. this force is nore in water. hence we can easily drag an object in water as its weight reduces
