there is no change in the colour of lime water in respiration experiment.assume the reason?​

Explanation:

when enough carbonic acid is formed it neutralizes the lime water, which is a base and makes the solution an acid. Therefore with the phenolphthalein, the color disappears in the now acidic solution. As you keep blowing your breath into the solution, there is now an excess of hydrogen ions or acid.Jun 5, 2019

THIS IS BECAUSE EXCESS CO2 (carbon dioxide) IS SUPPLIED .
Hence the like water well first turn milky then and then back to normal color when excess carbon dioxide is supplied .
