if there is no mucus in our nostril than many harmful bacteria may enter in our respiratory system through the nostrils (nose)

if there is no mucus on the nose all the tiny dust particles which stick to the mucus will enter inside your nostrils which can cause sneezing and may cause harm to your lungs
