Answer is Nothing was there. A sentence is said to be in active voice when the action is performed by the subject that means the verb is with respect to subject.
For example; Ram is eating banana here Ram is subject and actiion is Eating. When the action is performed by the object then it is in passive voice. For example: the banana was eaten by Ram. Here subject is banana but action is performed by Ram.
