Yes it is true.

The Ganga carries several organic material from several drains , runaways and dumpings which also make it polluted.

These organic matter on decomposition yields oxygen .

The Gangas come from the Himalayas from that altitude and carries a lot of silt from mountains . These may contain oxides and chemical reactions turn them to oxides.

Hence Ganga has more oxygen than any other rivers.
