Due to degeneracy of genetic code, some amino acids are coded by more than one codon. As a result, from an amino acid sequence, multiple nucleotide sequence will be obtained. For example, di peptide Met-Ile can be formed by AUG-AUU , AUG-AUC, AUG-AUA. Therefore any three nucleotide sequence would code for Met-Ile.
