area of parallelogram =200sq.m.

a parallelogram if divided in 3 parts it forms 3triangles
each will be isocalas triangle

SO ,
200÷3=66.66667

so a triangle=66.66667sq.m.

medical planting field is in 2/3part.....from question
so 66.66667×2=133.3333sq.m.

medical planting field area =133.3333sq.m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a parallelogram = Base x altitude = 200 m²

since PD is an altitude drawn to the base DC

Hence area of the parallelogram = DC x PD = 200

Also the pond is a triangle shaped with DC as base and PD as altitude

Hence area of the pond

= 1/2 x Base x altitude

= 1/2 x DC x PD

= 1/2 x 200

= 100

Area of the medicinal plant = Area of the land - area of the pond

= 200 - 100

= 100 m²

Hence the area where the medicinal plants were grown is 100 m²
