There were many Bison a few hundred years ago in the Prairies. But we cannot see any now. Why? Can you suggest few methods or ways to stop extinction of such animals?

Answer:

reason why bison nearly went into extinction is that the railway authorities wanted to reduce Bison populations. By thinning the population, the risks that bison posed to collisions with locomotives were reduced. With trains not as efficient as stopping, bison could cause damage to trains. Train tracks often cut through mountains and hills.

Explanation:

If you want to prevent extinction, there are ways to support organizations and change your lifestyle to help keep animals safe. You can choose to either donate time or money to support programs that fight extinction or you can help fight local extinction from home. With enough people supporting the cause, you can help save the animals!Scientists predict we're on the verge of the Sixth Mass Extinction. This is a global event in which three-quarters of all species become extinct. Many scientists feel human activity is causing increased extinction rates. If you want to help, there are many small and big changes you can make. Strive for a more environmentally conscious lifestyle, get involved politically, and enlist the help of others.
