Answer:

50N

Explanation:

g1=g/(1+h/R)2

g1=g/4

new weight mg/4=200/4=50

SOLUTION

the weight of a person on the earth surface is

(w1)=m×go

where ...m=the weight of the body

go=gravitational acceleration on the surface of the earth

now on the earth surface .......

go=GM/R²

and .....

the gravitational acceleration at a height of R from the earth surface is

gR=GM/(R+R)²=GM/4R²

now the weight of the body at height of R from the surface of earth is (w2)=m×(gR)

now .....

we/w1

=mgo/mgR

=(GMm/4R²)×(R²/GMm)

=1/4

 \frac{w2}{w1}  =  \frac{1}{4}  \\  =  > w2 =  \frac{1}{4}  \times w1 \\  =  > w2 =  \frac{1 }{4}  \times 200 \\  =  > w2 = 50 \:  \: newton
