Complete Question :- Ram has four full rolls of ribbon and one roll of ribbon is 18(3/4)m long . These four full ribbon rolls are used for decorating the circular wall pieces each of radius 35 cm, then how many such circular wall pieces can be decorated ?

Answer :-

we have,

→ Length of one roll of ribbon = 18(3/4) = (75/4) m .

so,

→ Length of 4 rolls of ribbon = (75/4) * 4 = 75 m = 75 * 100 = 7500 cm .

now,

→ Radius of circular wall = 35 cm .

Let us assume that, n number of circular wall pieces can be decorated .

then,

→ n * circumference of 1 circular wall piece = 7500 cm .

→ n * 2 * π * radius = 7500

→ n * 2 * (22/7) * 35 = 7500

→ n * 44 * 5 = 7500

→ 220n = 7500

→ 22n = 750

→ n = 34.09 ≈ 34 pieces (Ans.)
