1. a+b= (a²+b²)/ab
a²b+ab²=a²+b²
a²(b-1)+b²(a-1)=0
Since a and b are positive integers
So their sqaures cannot be
negative or zero.
Therefore b-1=0 and a-1= 0
So b=1 and a= 1
Hence a²+b²= 2

1. a+b= (a²+b²)/ab

a²b+ab²=a²+b²

a²(b-1)+b²(a-1)=0

Since a and b are positive integers

So their sqaures cannot be

negative or zero.

Therefore b-1=0 and a-1= 0

So b=1 and a= 1

Hence a²+b²= 2
