Soil is very important part of the ecosystem. The things which are directly related to soil are as following:-

(i) water- water is directly related to soil because the presence of water in the soil layer supports the the afforestation and cultivation.

(ii) Minerals- many kind of minerals which are present in the soil make possible for photosynthesis which take place in plant.

(iii) nitrogen and many gases- air particle which is present in the atmosphere and soil help in the nitrogen fixation and also support for photosynthesis.

(iv) Microorganism- Decomposers which are present in the ecosystem help in growth of plant. decomposers also decompose the dead and decay part of plant and animal which Make soil more fertile.

(v)- soil gives nutrients to the the plant whereas plant prevent soil erosion from anchoring the soil through its root.

Yes soil differ from place to place because of the following reason- different climate, different rocks from soil has been produced, type of plants and vegetation present and presence of human being.

In simple way all the human beings and animals need food so they are dependent on plants for the food and you to eat all the human beings and living things which require food for their survival are indirectly related to soil
