It is in Simple past tense

Structure:
Active voice:      Subject + v2 + object
Passive voice:    New subject + was/were + v3 + by + new object.

verb form : admire (v1) - admired (v2) - admired (v3)

Note: Here av's object will be the new subject of pv and av's subject will be the new objects of pv.

Given sentence (active voice): They admired him for his courage.

Converting into passive voice: His courage was admired by them.

This is a simple question. We know past participle of 'admire' is 'admired'. In voice change it is necessary to change the main verb to past participle.

Hence,

His courage was admired by them.
