..........amidst all the beauty of the island there was a baby whale lying on the seashore.
It was a blue whale.It was about 20 feet long and 10 feet wide . It was blue in color on top and white on bottom. It was very beautiful and made made me almost cry  due to her helplessness. It had a innocent and afraid look in her eyes as if saying that Save me! Many people rushed to lift her but she was too heavy. The people thought that the whale was going to die but then i realized that whale could breathe on land. I breathed a sigh of relief. So, i told everyone that she will survive but not for long as her organs could be squashed due to her weight. So, we all started looking for everything we could use for digging. Some had buckets while others were digging with shovels and some people used their hands. Everyone started digging around the whale to allow water to come under her. It was a very difficult task and people were starting to bow out. After sometime everyone was tired but one girl was still shoveling dirt. She was bleeding and sweating a lot which reminded me of farm workers. Seeing her strong will power everyone got motivated and finally after 1 hour of blood, sweat and tiredness we were able to get it in the water. It was a beautiful sight. It was a heroic effort by everyone. It was all possible because of the girl who didn't give up. The whale swam to the sea which looked like a glass sheet. As if in a thank you kind of gesture, the whale splashed water on us making us free of sand. I will never forget that day.
