They teached that---. angle RHD= angle PHG -(V.O.A) and i say that cant it be like this-----. angle DHP = angle PHG ---( angles in a linear pair)

I am sorry but your predication is wrong. Vertically opposite angles will always be equal, but in this figure ∠DHP and ∠PHG form a linear pair, which means that ∠DHP+∠PHG=180˚. So,∠DHP and∠PHG can be equal only when one of them is 90˚(so the other will also be 90˚). But here ∠DHP=85˚, so it cant be equal to ∠PHG.
