during a science experiment , it was observed that liquids expand more than solids on heating . justify this observation.

This is because there is more molecular force in liquid than solids.

Liquid expands more than solids because the particles present in solid are joined together and thre is no gap between them. But in the case of liquid the there is more gap between the partilcles for which air can pass through the particles easily durring expansion
