Hey there!

(i) 3 : 5 = 9 : ?

3/5 = 9/?

3/5 * 3/3 = 9/15

So, 3 : 5 = 9 : 15 .

(ii) 4 : 5 = x : 10

4/5 * 2/2 = 8/10

So , x = 8 .

4 : 5 = 8 : 10

(iii) 6 : x = 1 : 2

1/2 * 6/6 = 6/12

x = 12 .

6 : 12 = 1 : 2 .

Hope helped!

\textbf{Answer :}

(i)

Now, 3 : 5

= 3/5

= (3 × 3)/(3 × 5)

= 9/15

= 9 : 15

(ii)

Now, 4 : 5

= 4/5

= (4 × 2)/(5 × 2)

= 8/10

= 8 : 10

(iii)

Now,

6 : x = 1 : 2

or, 6/x = 1/2

or, x/6 = 2

or, x = 12

So, 6 : 12 = 1 : 2
