The French revolution insisted upon the prevalence of JUSTICE, LIBERTY AND FRATERNITY. It can be said as the slogan of French Revolution.

During the time of freedom struggle, Indian leaders were highly influenced by this thought. Even after Independece, these words have taken place in the preamble of Indian Constituion.

The French Revolution had far reaching effects on not just on Europe but all over the world.

The French revolution was the result of massing suffering by the poor, instigated by the bad choices made by the political and feudal elite.

Eventually people had enough and there was a rise in not just nationalism but more about human rights, welfare, justice and rule of law for everyone. All these ideals were romanticized in this era which appeal even the most poor common man.

The Indian independence movement, by and large, used a similar cry of liberty, justice and independence from 'White British Rule', many of the poor started to believe they were poor cause they were kept that way by the rulers.

Common man became involved in politics with the same cry as the french revolutionaries ages ago.
