The dimensions of rectangle is 30cm × 18cm

When rectangle is rolled along its length....

then the perimeter of the base of the cylinder is its breadth and height is length

2πr = 18

r = 9/π

so volume = π × 9/π × 9/π × 30

= 2430/π


When rectangle is rolled along its breadth....

then the perimeter of the base of the cylinder is its length and height is breadth

2πr = 30

r = 15/π

volume = π × 15/π × 15/π × 18

= 4050/π

Ratio = 2430 / π ÷ 4050 / π

= 2430 / 4050

= 3/5 = 3 : 5
