BaCl2 + CuSO4 -----> BaSO4 + CuCl2
2Cu + O2 -----> 2CuO
2FeSO4 --∆--> Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3
Fe + CuSO4 -----> FeSO4 + Cu
CaO + H2O -----> Ca(OH)2
- BaSO4 is the white precipitate
- CuO is the black colour observed
- Fe2O3 is the reddish brown solid and the smell of burning sulpher is due to the fumes of SO2 and SO3
- Blue coloured CuSO4 becomes pale green coloured FeSO4
