a square = 72÷4 = 18

a regular hexagon = 72÷6= 12

Perimeter=4×(side of square)

(c) A regular hexagon has six equal sides.

Perimeter= 6×(side)

Side = Perimeter/6= 72/6 = 12cm

Hence, length of each side if the string is used to form a regular hexagon will be 12cm.
