In ∆QOP and ∆APO

  • ∠APO = ∠AQO [ 90° each ]

  • AO = AO [ common ]

  • ∠OAP = ∠QAO [Given ]

  • ∆QOP ≈ ∆APO

  • OP = OQ [ CPCT ]

With the help of pythogoras theorem ;

i.e.

(Hypotenuse)² = (Perpendicular)² + (base)²

AO² = AP² + OP²

(5)² = (4)² + OP²

25 - 16 = OP²

9 = OP²

  \boxed{\mathsf{PO = 9cm}}

Therefore

The value of OQ = OP = 9cm

I HOPE IT HELPS.
