d) Use of organic fertilizers is not related to the Green revolution.

What is Green Revolution?

  • The green revolution is also known as the third agricultural revolution resulted in the adoption of newer technologies and methods for agriculture.
  • It included the High-Yielding Varieties (HYVs) of many kinds of cereal and crops, along with chemical fertilizers.
  • All this was adopted ensuring limited water supply and using irrigation methods for cultivation.
  • Agricultural production over the world saw a huge rise and development after adopting these techniques.
  • In India, when Punjab first used these techniques it produced the higher number of crops ever in this period.
  • With all the other methods there was no use of organic fertilizers as these kinds of fertilizers have been developed and known to people in the very recent time.

Thus, the use of organic fertilizers is nowhere related to the concept of the Green Revolution.
