Actually , you are wrong friend !!

Jerome [ author and the narrator ] objected to the sea trip.
Jerome objected to it saying that sea trip is good if we are going for a couple of months.But for a week it is the most unpleasant experience , as you suffer from sea sickness.
By the time you get accustomed to travelling and eating solid food , your trip comes to an end.

Harris is the one , who discovered an excellent way to prevent sea sickness:- to bend backward when the back of the ship rises , so that we stay standing straight.
